New Moon Records is Joshua Tree’s indie record label. It was started in 1990 to supplement Lester Family Music. New Moon is owned and operated by Steve and Darlene Lester.

The Label finds, produces, and releases talented artists in many musical styles. The common denominator in New Moon’s products is love of music from the heart. We call it “small town vibes with big city sound”.

Recently, Steve began working (again) with Michael Farrow, a great engineer and good friend from the days when they both started out in Indiana. Michael has worked many years in the movie industry as an engineer and mixer (he is an Oscar and Grammy winner). He brings his excellent ear and recording skills to bear on the newer recording projects, which will be released in partnership with Planesong Records, owned by Michael and Nila Farrow.
